Latino Review Dishes About Public Enemies Script

Christian-Bale-PostersLatino Review has done it again! They have obtained and reviewed the script for the upcoming Dillinger film Public Enemies. We get the following excerpt about the film thanks to their script review:

Public Enemies is about John Dillinger, but it’s not a bio pic by any means. We pick up in 1933, after Dillinger is already a notorious gangster, and follow him into the last few years of his life as he runs from the law and tries to fit into a world of crime that is quickly rendering his ways obsolete. Johnny Depp is perfect for Dillinger – a seriously spot-on, perfect piece of casting. Christian Bale will shine as Purvis, the unrelenting and Dick Tracy-esque federal agent hunting Dillinger. I’m excited to see who else will join the cast – no doubt a few more heavy-hitters because there are some meaty supporting roles here.

Latino Review has a deal with the goat lord to get all scripts! I do not know how they do it; but they always do. I am not a fan of reading scripts before the film comes out so I am not going to give any spoilers. I am very much looking forward to this film and do not want to spoil it for myself, if you are a fan of spoilers and/or script reviews simply follow this link.

Christian Bale and Johnny Depp is quite the team up, and I am certain that this film will kick my ass. Although I didn’t read the script, I did take a gander at what grade LR gave the paper, and I was quite please to see an A+ at review’s end. It will be interesting to see who else is cast to play alongside these two pillars of excellence. Bale and Depp are on my list of “favorites” and having them in a film about one of the baddest bank robbers of all time, suits me, just fine.

We we keep our antennae up for any additional news about this one and will be sure to keep you posted!
