The two hotly anticipated new Stephen Soderbergh flicks –”Guerilla” and “The Argentine,” both starring Benecio del Toro as T-shirt icon Che Guevara — are expected to premiere at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, The Hollywood Reporter says. The trade journal claims Woody Allen’s latest, “Vicky Cristina Barcelona” with its allegedly hot lesbian sex scene featuring Penelope Cruz and Scarlett Johansson (and newly minted Oscar winner Javier Bardem to boot) is also on the list, and speculates the lineup (which will be announced next month; the fest opens May 14, quite possibly with “Sex and the City,” followed by the new Indiana Jones four days later) will include new English-language flicks from Bertrand Tavernier, Fernando Meirelles and Wim Wenders.
