Liveblogging the Oscars: Clooney Speaks

Posted on Feb 24, 2008 05:35:30 PM | Filed under: Uncategorized

George finally talks to E! and why do they ask? Q. “What drives you to be so active?” A. “It’s mostly waking up in the morning and look at yourself in the morning.” Twice they ask him about a ridiculous story about walking along the beach in Malibu with girlfriend Sarah Larson Jason Bateman? “Basically like being at home except you’re wearing sox.” Over on TVG, they’re been taking texted questions from AT&T customers, but they don’t seem to have actually asked any to the few celebrities who have designed to talk with them. Another 90 minutes or so to go before the big show, and Anne Hathaway is plugging this summer’s “Get Smart.” And the guy from E! asks Steve Carell about buying feminine products for his wife. How crass. Bring back Joan Rivers. Even Isaac Mizrahi was more fun.
